Job summary

Amphenol CDI is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor for its Cerritos, CA facility. You will lead maintenance teams, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and coordinate equipment upgrades while ensuring uptime and safety compliance.

The role collaborates with EHS, HR, Operations, and Quality to sustain a safe manufacturing environment with Swiss screw machines, CNC mills, and utility systems. Prior leadership and maintenance experience in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability practices.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel, contractors, and facility projects.
• Experience with CNC machining equipment or related technologies preferred.
• Experience maintaining industrial utility systems (air, HVAC, electrical, fire systems).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance technicians and facility support personnel.
• Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Maintain high equipment uptime and responsiveness to production needs.
• Coordinate repairs for manufacturing equipment (Swiss machines, CNC mills, compressors, soldering equipment, ovens, etc.).
• Coordinate equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Manage outside service providers and maintenance contractors.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, spare parts inventory, and equipment documentation.
• Administer CMMS/E-Maintenance including schedules, priorities, and closures.
• Manage tooling and spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Support capital equipment and facility improvement projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and cost reduction.
• Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine safety requirements are properly followed.
• Oversee building systems (electrical, HVAC, compressed air, lighting, plumbing, fire protection).
• Support safety training and safety committee activities.
