Job summary

Partners For Quality, Inc. in Wilkinsburg, PA, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance operations and guide the maintenance team.

The role blends hands-on tasks with supervisory responsibilities, aligning with the organization’s mission and safety standards. The position requires five years of residential/commercial maintenance experience, leadership experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years experience in residential/commercial maintenance with electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• One (1) year of leadership experience.
• Must have a working knowledge to perform the duties noted above.
• Excellent references, both personal and work.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a comprehensive physical exam.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
• Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians, ensuring proper maintenance procedures are followed.
• Delegate work orders and ensure timely and quality completion.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment or facilities systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with management on maintenance priorities and long-term facility needs.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Communicate issues, progress, and needs effectively with staff and leadership.
• Coordinate / assist with internal moves.
• Provide on-call emergency support on a rotating schedule as assigned.
• Understanding of and compliance with Maintenance safety and work protocols and PFQ Corporate Personnel Policies and Procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
