Job summary

Cook Group Vandergrift is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across shifts. You will supervise maintenance tasks, train staff, and liaise with management and outside suppliers to ensure smooth operations of Vandergrift facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliable problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug test.
• Must have prior experience in building maintenance.
• Ability to read, write and understand documentation, equipment manuals and blueprints.
• Strong aptitude in maintenance trades - plumbing, electrical and HVAC

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach daily maintenance activities across shifts.
• Oversee maintenance activities and meet department schedules.
• Train new and existing personnel; assist Maintenance Manager.
• Liaise between management and suppliers; lead projects.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls.
• Maintain driveways, walkways, lawn, trees and snow removal.
• Identify preventive and corrective actions; improve department operations.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
