Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Lead Maintenance Worker to oversee maintenance of equipment, facilities, and systems in a healthcare setting. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while mentoring staff and ensuring safety standards are met.

This on-call leadership role requires experience in repairs and maintenance within healthcare or commercial environments, plus CPR certification and de-escalation training prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• High School degree (or equivalent) required.
• 3 years’ experience with plumbing and air conditioning; healthcare/commercial setting preferred.
• Must possess or obtain CPR certification and complete de-escalation training before orientation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in the absence of the Director of Plant Ops.
• Oversee and complete work orders and repairs.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs and general maintenance.
