Job summary

SERVPRO Team Shaw in Texas seeks a hands-on Facilities Maintenance & Handyman Manager to keep our offices, warehouse, yard, and fleet in top condition across the DFW market. This role owns the physical upkeep and coordinates both in-house and external maintenance to support our teams and customers.

You will manage a small in-house crew, oversee cleanliness, track a punch list, evaluate fleet needs, and ensure OSHA and fire-safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems knowledge.
• Experience managing vendors and coordinating quotes and schedules.
• Strong organization and punch-list skills.
• Willingness to travel between DFW sites.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day maintenance of facilities (DFW, East Texas, Houston).
• Oversee cleanliness and presentation of Grapevine site facilities.
• Manage fleet condition tracking and maintenance history.
• Maintain a facilities punch list / log and assign work.
• Perform hands-on repairs (within skill limits).
• Source and manage outside vendors for specialized work (HVAC, roofing, electrical/plumbing).
• Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Ensure OSHA/fire-safety compliance across locations.
• Support office moves, buildouts, and space reconfigurations.
