Job summary

SERVPRO Team Shaw, a leading Texas franchise, seeks a Facilities Maintenance & Handyman Manager to keep our offices, warehouse, and fleet in top condition across the DFW market. You will own maintenance programs, manage a small internal crew and external vendors, and ensure safety and reliability of all sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in facilities maintenance or related trades, is hands-on, organized, and adept at coordinating work from identification to completion with travel between

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities maintenance, handyman work, property management, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems.
• Proven ability to manage vendors—quotes, scheduling, accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day maintenance of all facilities (offices, warehouse, yard, equipment storage) in DFW, East Texas and Houston.
• Oversee cleanliness and presentation of facilities, manage janitorial staff or vendors to standard.
• Assist fleet evaluation, track vehicle condition, mileage and maintenance history.
• Maintain a punch list / work order log; prioritize, assign, and track completion.
• Perform hands-on repairs within skill and code limits (drywall, paint, doors/hardware, basic plumbing/electrical).
• Source, schedule, and manage outside vendors for specialized work (HVAC, roofing, electrical/plumbing beyond basic scope).
• Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and preventive maintenance inspections; identify issues early.
• Manage relationships with landlords/ managers and track lease-related obligations.
