Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property upkeep at the Camp Lejeune location. The role includes managing maintenance staff, scheduling preventive programs, inspecting properties, and coordinating work orders to keep units ready for rent.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of building maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical/HVAC/plumbing/carpentry, and a strong safety mindset. A valid driver’s license, EPA 608, and OSHA-10 are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced training or degree in building maintenance, management, construction, skilled trades, or related subject preferred.
• Experience with administrative reporting and Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, trains, supervises, and evaluates maintenance personnel.
• Prioritizes work orders and ensures timely completion.
• Supports the after-hours Emergency Call program.
• Responsible for all company-owned equipment and small tools.
• Participates in make-ready of vacant units and inspections.
• Prepares purchase orders and orders parts and supplies.
• Ensures compliance with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assists in unit inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Assists Maintenance Director and Community Director as requested.
• Contributes to resident retention programs.
• Ensures unsafe conditions are corrected promptly.
• Learns and enforces safety rules; uses daily technology platforms.
• Requires driving for company business using company or personal vehicles.
