Job summary

Pursuit Attractions and Hospitality, Inc. in Alaska is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead building and grounds upkeep across guest areas, kitchens, amenities, and staff housing.

You will supervise the maintenance team, plan daily work, and ensure the property stays safe, functional, and well presented to Pursuit standards. You will coordinate with hotel leadership, manage preventative maintenance, inspections, inventory, and external contractors, and support capital projects and seasonal

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Commitment to safety, sanitation, and high maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor Maintenance Workers; oversee performance and work quality.
• Oversee maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient facilities.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities with hotel leadership.
• Prepare weekly schedules and ensure weekend/holiday coverage.
• Operate maintenance tracking system and manage work orders.
• Plan, perform, and track preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain logs, logs, and compliance records.
• Manage inventory and coordinate external contractors.
• Assist with capital projects and seasonal openings/closings.
• Oversee maintenance of company vehicles and staff housing units.
• Ensure compliance with safety and life-safety regulations.
• Attend management meetings and collaborate with sister properties.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
