Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee building and grounds upkeep, coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments, and ensure facilities meet safety and quality standards.

You will support the Maintenance Manager, supervise maintenance technicians, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage vendor relationships to guarantee reliable operations across resort units. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification
• Experience in building maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the maintenance operations.
• Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping on issues affecting facilities.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of maintenance, whether in-house or via contractors.
• Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance procedures in units and systems.
• Support other maintenance technicians as needed.
