Job summary

Sun Hydraulics is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee hands-on maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to meet regulatory standards, safety goals, and reliability targets.

The role emphasizes 90% hands-on repairs and 10% coordination, reporting to the Technical Services Manager. AAS in Facilities Maintenance or equivalent plus 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• AAS in Facilities Maintenance or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lead a small team and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building infrastructure, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production-support equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure critical systems operate normally.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and perform safety audits.
• Manage facility-related projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with vendors for janitorial, landscaping, security, and other services.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and permits.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and power outages.
• Liaise with utility companies for safe operation.
