Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Laborer - Lead is responsible for ensuring an attractive, safe, comfortable and well-maintained environment for all guests and team members. This position's starting wage is $18.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/ external guest service by all team members
  • Able to lead team members during their shift
  • Has the ability to check HVAC equipment using the BMS
  • Trains personnel in some aspects of their position
  • Gardening and cleaning where appropriate
  • Changing of light bulbs
  • Snow removal
  • Painting throughout the facility
  • Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
  • Respond to maintenance calls during the shift
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Good knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
  • Knowledge of all promotions and events
  • Able to work flexible shifts

Environmental Working Conditions:

  • The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

  • Casino environment, hotel lobby, back of the house and outside facilities grounds.

  • Exposed to loud noise, bright lights, wet areas, and varying temperatures.
