Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our on-site facilities in Houston, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and prevent failures in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring safe and efficient building operations.

Join our team to perform preventive maintenance, replace lighting components, and document work via WebTMA, while collaborating with facility managers and clients to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in general building repair and maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work from heights up to 15 feet.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs, troubleshooting issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify potential problems, safety hazards, and maintenance needs before they impact building operations
• Replace lighting fixtures, ballasts, and other building components as needed while maintaining energy efficiency standards
• Update work order status in real‑time using CMMS systems (WebTMA), ensuring accurate documentation and transparent communication with stakeholders
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to all safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
