CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance and Housekeeping Manager to lead the facilities team, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency across locations. The role focuses on schedules, budgets, and service quality, with accountability for maintenance projects and vendor relationships.

You will supervise staff, enforce safety regulations, and coordinate preventive maintenance while delivering excellent service to residents and staff.

Competenze

• State builder’s license and HVAC certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Considerable knowledge of practices, methods, and techniques pertaining to building and facilities maintenance and repair.
• Considerable knowledge of tools and equipment in building maintenance and construction trades.
• Knowledge of safety standards and precautions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; sound problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities; ability to train staff on policies and job responsibilities.
• Maintenance lead must work well under pressure and enforce safety regulations.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to follow client direction.

• Supervises maintenance staff by determining workloads and schedules.
• Evaluates staff and makes hiring or termination recommendations; motivates staff to provide quality service.
• Maintains facilities in accordance with local and state building codes.
• Manages maintenance departments with regard to cost, methods, staffing; ensures budgets and schedules.
• Provides technical knowledge for maintenance projects and assists when needed; prepares service estimates and maintains project budgets.
• Develops and implements policies with President to achieve departmental goals.
• Negotiates sub-contractor contracts and inspects work for safety and procedure adherence.
• Ensures preventative maintenance schedules and maintains maintenance records; evaluates equipment.
• Establishes relationships with employees, vendors, and public; supports continual improvement.
• Strives to improve the overall organization.
