Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff and sets workloads.
• Evaluates staff and handles hiring/termination recommendations.
• Maintains facilities per local and state codes.
• Manages maintenance budgets, methods, and staffing; ensures schedules.
• Provides technical knowledge for projects and prepares estimates.
• Develops policies with President and sets departmental goals.
• Negotiates subcontractor contracts and inspects work.
• Ensures preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Evaluates new equipment for durability and value.
• Maintains relationships with staff, vendors, and the public.
• Drives continual improvement of the organization.
