Qualifications

• State Builder’s License and HVAC certification preferred; Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Considerable knowledge of building maintenance practices and safety standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; problem solving abilities.
• Demonstrate leadership and staff training capabilities.
• Ability to enforce security/safety regulations and manage schedules.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail for records and client directions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff by determining workloads and schedules.
• Evaluates staff and makes hiring/terminations recommendations; motivates staff.
• Maintains facilities per local/state building codes.
• Manages costs, methods, staffing; adheres to budgets and schedules.
• Provides technical knowledge for maintenance projects and prepares service estimates.
• Develops policies with President and negotiates sub-contractor contracts.
• Ensures preventative maintenance and maintains equipment records.
• Builds relationships with employees, vendors, and the public.
• Works toward continual improvement of the organization.
