Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks a general labor/maintenance assistant to support plant operations in a safe, clean environment. You'll perform heavy lifting, basic repairs, and housekeeping under the Maintenance Supervisor, contributing to efficient facility performance.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work outdoors and indoors, and adherence to safety policies. Training for material handling equipment and hand tools will be provided.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb throughout shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Safely use basic hand tools.
• Safely operate material handling equipment as trained.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Distinguish colors, read gauges, labels, safety signs, and work instructions.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs general labor, facility maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
• Assists with basic maintenance, repairs, equipment inspections, simple fabrication, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintains facility cleanliness indoors and outdoors, including entrances and walkways.
• Performs snow and ice removal and other maintenance and facility support duties.
• Keeps work areas clean, safe, and orderly; transports materials as required.
