Job summary

JLL is looking for an Operating Engineer to join their facilities team supporting a Data Center in Whitsett, NC. This role involves performing repairs and maintenance across multiple trades including electrical systems and HVAC. As part of your responsibilities, you will manage operational performance and ensure the reliability of all mechanical equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a customer service focus. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical care and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical and HVAC trade, including rooftop units and backup systems.
• Experience with Data Center operations.
• Knowledge of maintenance and operation of building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Control daily operation of mechanical equipment in the physical plant.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Formulate and implement the preventative maintenance program.
