Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a responsible and reliable Facilities Maintenance Engineer for a local bakery facility in Seattle, WA. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot bakery equipment and facility systems, minimize downtime, and support emergency repairs.

You must be able to work in hot, fast-paced production environments, be flexible to all shifts including weekends and holidays, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience required.
• PLC and inverter experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial or production line equipment (bakery experience a plus).
• Ability to work in hot, fast-paced production environments.
• Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bakery equipment and facility systems.
• Minimize downtime and ensure equipment productivity.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and production line stoppages.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow GMPs and all safety regulations.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Support emergency repairs and overall maintenance operations.
• Assist Chief Engineer with technical support and recommendations.
