Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Maintenance Engineer/Technician for our bread facility. You will ensure smooth operation of equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair machinery to minimize downtime while coordinating with production teams to support uninterrupted bread production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and hands-on experience with mechanical tools, electrical systems, PLCs, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with mechanical tools, electrical systems, PLCs and VFDs preferred.
• Maintenance of bakery equipment and conveyors experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on bakery equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for assigned duties.
• Coordinate maintenance with production teams to support uninterrupted bread production.
• Inspect equipment health and implement reliability improvements.
