Job summary

Grand Central Bakery in Seattle seeks a Janitor 1 to maintain a clean, sanitary facility supporting bakery production and café service. You may drive company vehicles to other bakery locations if qualified.

The role includes hands-on cleaning, laundry management, and on-site equipment support. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with weekend work required, offering benefits and a robust team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Working knowledge of and ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handler's Card at all times.
• Regular attendance and punctuality required; may include weekends/holidays.
• HS diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning of surfaces, ducts, and high areas.
• Wash, sort, and document laundry at the location.
• Support landscaping or project tasks as directed.
• Provide on-site support for equipment maintenance, repairs, or installation.
