Job summary

Antelope Valley Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to plan, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations. You will oversee schedules and operations to keep the facility safe and well maintained.

Requirements include high school education and at least three years of supervisory maintenance experience, plus knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and electrical/plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years in a supervisory maintenance role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments.
• Ensure safety and fire prevention programs are followed.
• Inspect and supervise maintenance operations and equipment.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost reporting.
