Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute is seeking a capable Maintenance Supervisor to lead the department, ensuring all facilities meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards. You will plan, organize, and direct maintenance programs, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to keep equipment and environments safe and functional.

The role requires hands-on supervision, blueprint reading, and knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and building codes.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in maintenance/plant.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and write policies and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance.
• Inspect facilities and supervise outside vendors.
• Prepare and manage the Maintenance Department budget.
• Conduct weekly rounds to ensure tasks are performed and equipment works.
