Walter Reed Post Acute is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead all facility maintenance operations, ensuring a safe, efficient environment that supports high-quality resident care.

The role focuses on managing preventive programs, supervising maintenance staff and contractors, and maintaining essential systems such as boilers, HVAC, and electrical infrastructure. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Healthcare facility experience is required.
• HVAC certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance operations to keep the facility safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and system repairs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Supervise staff, contractors, and vendors for timely, high-quality work.
• Maintain critical facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
