Job summary

SNF Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Director to manage the facility's maintenance operations. The role includes supervising the maintenance team, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes to protect residents and staff.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with supervisory experience; training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent and basic training in electrical, plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.
• Supervisory experience required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance department and perform hands-on repairs.
• Maintain building and grounds in good repair and hazard-free condition.
• Ensure fire alarm and emergency generator systems are tested weekly and records kept.
• Participate in budget planning and supplier/stock management.
• Orient and train maintenance staff and coordinate across departments.
