Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in maintenance/ facilities management.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Medical Exam Certification or eligibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Insurable under employer's auto insurance.
• Complete in-house transportation curriculum and driving evaluation within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping operations, ensuring life safety and security systems are functional.
• Monitor and forecast repairs or replacements of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Manage maintenance contracts and purchasing within budget guidelines; oversee bill payments.
• Coordinate bids for capital improvements following facility guidelines.
• Supervise and develop maintenance and housekeeping staff; schedule daily work/orders.
• Ensure timely apartment turnovers and communicate needs to the team.
• Provide 24/7 emergency on-call coverage and support on-call staff as needed.
• Promote a safe environment for staff, tenants, and visitors; lead safety initiatives.
