Job summary

Abundant Christian Living Community Llc is seeking a full-time Maintenance Director to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct facility maintenance on a 24/7 basis. Ensures safety, manages budgets, and coordinates with staff and external contractors.

Responsibilities include maintaining heating/cooling systems, prioritizing unscheduled repairs, supervising outside services, preparing reports, and leading monthly physical plant planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in plant maintenance including boilers, compressors, generators, and a variety of mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, blueprints and safety regulations.
• Exercise independent judgment regarding plant maintenance and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct facility maintenance on a 24/7 basis.
• Assure resident safety at all times and maintain environment with proper heating/cooling.
• Set priorities for unscheduled maintenance and oversee repairs.
• Maintain and supervise HVAC systems and facility equipment; ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Supervise outside services and manage contracts/work orders; prepare reports.
• Lead monthly physical plant planning meetings and communicate with staff and residents' families as needed.
