Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare in Oregon seeks a Maintenance Manager to supervise the maintenance department and ensure safe, efficient operation of the plant and environmental systems. You will direct and participate in upkeep of facilities and grounds, develop preventive plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with third-party specialists when needed.

This role requires knowledge of building codes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and OSHA safety standards, plus strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and rules and regulations regarding the operation of plant equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety requirements.
• Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Directs and conducts maintenance and repair projects for the facility and its grounds.
• Schedules repair and maintenance by third-parties when the maintenance or repair cannot be performed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Directs maintenance on utility systems to provide heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget.
• Recommends measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
