Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare in Medford, Oregon seeks a Maintenance Manager to supervise the maintenance department and ensure the safe, efficient operation of the facility's plant and environmental systems, including grounds upkeep.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, manage the department budget, and coordinate with engineers and third-party vendors to keep equipment functioning and facilities compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and rules and regulations governing operation of plant equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety requirements.
• Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular maintenance and repair projects for the facility and grounds.
• Schedules repair and maintenance by third-parties when the Maintenance Manager cannot perform them.
• Directs maintenance on utility systems to provide continuous heat, power, gas, or air for operations.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepares and monitors department budget and expenditures.
• Recommends improvements to operations and equipment.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Reviews new product plans and discusses equipment needs with design engineers.
• Directs efforts to maintain attractive grounds.
• Participates in the facility’s process improvement programs.
• Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Complies with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws.
