PetVet Care Centers' Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to maintain the hospital through hands-on minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordination of larger projects with external contractors and vendors.

This role ensures a safe, functional, and compliant environment for patients, clients, and staff while managing work orders, regulatory issues, and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
• Strong safety awareness; know when to involve a licensed specialist.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and document thoroughly.
• Familiarity with work-order systems and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond to facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site minor repairs and maintenance within scope.
• Manage the work order system from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate larger projects with contractors and vendors.
• Conduct site inspections and document findings.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA, NFPA, ADA and local codes.
• Prepare for emergencies and after-hours support.
