Qualifications

  • Oversee HVAC maintenance including high/low voltage components for climate control.
  • Manage budgets and procurement of parts/services cost-effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and schematics for audits.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance and operational excellence of our facilities. In this role, you will oversee the management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring all infrastructure functions efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will drive a proactive maintenance culture, optimize facility performance, and uphold safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring effective execution of maintenance repair procedures across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Manage facilities projects from planning through completion, including upgrades, repairs, and system installations, adhering to project management best practices.
  • Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify root causes swiftly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and maintaining detailed safety documentation.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems—including high voltage and low voltage components—ensuring optimal climate control throughout the facility.
  • Manage facilities budgets by coordinating procurement of parts and services while maintaining cost-effective practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, safety incidents, and system schematics for audit purposes.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems—including high voltage—and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, Ohmmeters, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations related to industrial maintenance and facilities management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, planning, and communication purposes.
  • Experience managing facilities projects using project management methodologies to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively while fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with internal teams or external vendors.
