Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator within the DOC Construction & Maintenance division to plan, coordinate, and direct maintenance and renovation activities for state-owned facilities.

The role supervises construction/maintenance technicians and licensed trades, manages budgets, and ensures code compliance and timely project delivery. Travel is required; on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in skilled building trade or maintenance work.
• Three years of supervising employees, inmates, or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Inspects buildings, premises, and equipment and estimates costs for maintenance projects.
• Manages supervisory or contracted staff; develops and implements budget and policies; ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
• Evaluates bids and prepares specifications for equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
• Prepares cost estimates for future capital projects; reviews plans and docs.
• Plans and directs movement of heavy construction equipment across the state.
