Job summary

Gainey's Concrete Products seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee all equipment, buildings, and property. You will supervise the maintenance team, plan preventive programs, and lead capital improvements to support reliable Gulf Coast-facing infrastructure.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance experience, and ability to coordinate with the VP of Operations. Expect responsibility for scheduling, safety compliance, and cross-functional teamwork across the site.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience managing maintenance programs and staff.
• Vendor/contract management knowledge.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Fabrication/welding capability beneficial.
• Ability to manage capital projects and budgets.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with standard office software (email, Excel).
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow of the maintenance department.
• Lead capital improvement projects and coordinate with operations leadership.
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop staff.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage.
• Plan, schedule, and inspect preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Ensure work orders are documented, prioritized, and completed.
• Manage budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor on shift planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Inspect workmanship of technicians and ensure quality standards.
