Job summary

Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a Maintenance Director (Monday-Friday) to oversee the maintenance team, perform routine preventive maintenance, and sustain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

The role includes assisting with projects, repairs, and audits, plus repairing or replacing defective parts and assembling, wiring, plumbing systems. The incumbent may fill in during absences and perform routine physical labor as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment.
• Experience with heating and cooling units/systems.
• Strong general maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects, repairs, or audits as needed
• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently
• Fill in when the maintenance director is on vacation or out of the building
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing
• Perform routine physical labor tasks such as posting notices, pulling weeds, picking up litter, and moving furniture
