Job summary

Walpole Inc. is seeking a reliable help for facility maintenance in Birmingham, AL. The role supports daily upkeep of the building and grounds, and ensures cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, parts room, and wash bay area.

Candidate will perform manual tasks learned through on-the-job training, with a standard 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm schedule, Monday to Friday. Pay is $18-$19 per hour, benefits include health, dental, life, and disability insurance, plus 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Frequent walking.
• Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the facility maintenance manager with daily upkeep of the facility building and grounds.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop’s floor, parts room, and wash bay area.
• This position will generally involve the performance of manual tasks learned through on-the-job training.
