Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist General Maintenance Repairmen with various tasks. Responsibilities include delivering tools, cleaning job sites, and providing support for maintenance projects. You will work Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 7:00pm, typically in an office environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, and skills in communication, facility management, and safety. Comprehensive healthcare benefits are available from day one.

Responsibilities

• Assist repairmen by delivering tools and materials to job sites.
• Clean up job sites and return tools to storage.
• Assist with removing built-in fixtures and tearing down walls.
• Collect and sort recycling and shredding.
• Assist with painting projects.
• Provide limited electrical services such as changing light bulbs.
• Provide limited HVAC services such as changing filters.
• Maintain accurate daily records of time and materials.
