Job summary

Allure of Sterling is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Department in planning, organizing, developing, and directing operations to keep the facility safe and comfortable. You will coordinate maintenance services, update the Administrator, and help establish a preventive maintenance program.

Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Benefits include PTO, 401K match up to 3%, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and various mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
• Ability to read, interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments and report to the Administrator.
• Assist in establishing and supporting a preventive maintenance program.
• Repair facilities/resident property or coordinate with outside vendors when needed.
• Ensure safety protocols and proper PPE usage are followed by maintenance staff.
• Monitor supply storage and assist with emergencies and inspections.
