Qualifications

• 5-10 years of building experience as a maintenance director required.
• Valid driver's license needed.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Conduct a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the maintenance department.
• Oversee documentation, work orders, and physical reviews.
• Assume authority and accountability for the maintenance department.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures

Ability to deal tactfully with personnel

Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators

Education

High school education or equivalent
