Job summary

Allure of Sterling is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance department in a healthcare facility. You will plan, organize, and direct all maintenance operations, ensure safety compliance, and manage on‑call needs.

A strong background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs is required, with a preference for experience in Healthcare or Long Term Care settings. The role is salaried, Monday–Friday, with on‑call duties from time to time, offering competitive earnings,

Qualifications

• Must have experience in maintenance and be able to supervise a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of boilers, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.
• Willingness to be on call and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the Maintenance Department.
• Coordinate with other departments and report to the Administrator.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and supervise staff activities.
• Inspect and maintain facility equipment and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with MSDS labeling and hazardous material handling.
• Forecast needs and manage maintenance budget and supplies.
