Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Facility Asset Manager in the Williamsburg, VA area to oversee asset lifecycle, optimize performance, and maintain asset databases. The role emphasizes Maximo-based data compilation, analysis, and KPI reporting to support maintenance programs across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate has strong skills in asset management software, data analytics, and collaboration with stakeholders, including leadership and contractors, to ensure timely, compliant asset stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred but relevant work experience may be substituted.
• Active Government Clearance at time of application and US citizenship.
• Experience with MAXIMO or similar asset management systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for asset inventories and reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintaining a comprehensive asset inventory including HVAC, elevators, plumbing, electrical systems, and lighting.
• Oversee asset tagging procedures and supplies.
• Supervise staff supporting the facility asset management program.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize disruptions.
• Assist in planning major capital improvements based on asset condition.
• Provide data-backed insights on asset investments and long-term financial planning.
• Utilize MAXIMO and data analytics to track performance and trends.
• Generate detailed asset performance reports for stakeholders.
• Liaise with leadership, vendors, and regulators on facility matters.
• Ensure MAXIMO data integrity, security, and confidentiality.
• Input asset data into MAXIMO and track labor hours for data collection.
• Develop SOPs and assist with document control for field implementation.
• Support Engineering Manager with status reporting and project updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
