Job summary

Amentum seeks a Facility Asset Manager in the Williamsburg area, VA to oversee lifecycle management of physical assets across multiple facilities. You will track asset performance, support preventive maintenance, and ensure data integrity in the MAXIMO database to drive informed decisions.

The role requires experience with asset inventories, maintenance planning, and reporting to leadership and stakeholders. A strong analytical mindset and ability to work under deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Intermediate or Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred but relevant work experience may be substituted.
• Active Government Clearance at time of application
• US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintaining a comprehensive asset inventory for HVAC, elevators, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, etc.
• Manage asset tagging procedures and supplies.
• Lead staff supporting the facility asset management program.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize disruptions.
• Assist in planning for major capital improvements based on asset condition.
• Provide data-backed insights on asset investments.
• Use asset management software and data analytics to track performance and trends.
• Generate reports on asset performance, condition, and financial implications.
• Liaise with leadership, employees, vendors, and regulatory bodies on facility matters.
• Ensure MAXIMO data accuracy, security, and confidentiality.
• Oversee data collection and input into MAXIMO; track labor hours.
• Develop SOPs and assist with document control for field/tool implementation.
• Support Engineering Manager in project status reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager
