Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Logistics Specialist - Facilities to manage mail and package receiving, sorting, tracking, and distribution across the KUMC campus. This role supports central logistics operations and provides friendly service at the service window.

You will handle USPS and interoffice mail, parcels from UPS, FedEx, and other carriers, verify recipients, log deliveries, prepare outgoing mail, and assist with departmental charge-backs and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year office experience preferred, especially in mail/receiving roles.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and sort USPS and interoffice mail for KUMC campus.
• Receive, inspect and sort packages via UPS, FedEx, and others; verify recipients.
• Log deliveries using automated tracking and obtain signatures as needed.
• Prepare outgoing mail; stamp and route per established processes.
• Provide service at the customer window and assist with forms.
