Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support daily logistics activities at a busy facility. You will coordinate movement of materials, shipments, and resources with operations teams and external providers.

This hands-on role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; you will drive process improvements and ensure compliance and efficient facility operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, operations coordination, or shipping and receiving.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience coordinating transportation, deliveries, vendors, and resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and external providers.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational efficiency.
• Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics activities to support facility operations.
• Organize movement, receipt, dispatch of materials, equipment, and shipments.
• Collaborate with operations to anticipate needs and allocate resources.
• Coordinate logistical arrangements for projects and special requests.
• Identify and resolve logistics challenges impacting continuity.
• Support efficient use of facility space and logistics areas.
• Serve as point of contact for vendors and transport providers.
• Coordinate service requests, schedules, and logistics arrangements.
• Follow up with partners to ensure timely service.
• Support purchasing and procurement related to logistics.
• Review logistics documentation and assist with invoice verification.
