Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Inventory Operations Manager to lead a team across multiple facilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production and customer shipments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in operations or logistics, strong leadership and ERP/Excel skills, and a track record of process optimization in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, or project management.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operational activities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Proven ability to plan strategically, solve problems, and lead process improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing projects, coordinating resources, and implementing operational changes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on inventory accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the inventory team, fostering accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily inventory and warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and alignment with production priorities.
• Ensure FIFO practices and proper receiving, labeling, storage, and management of inventory.
• Coordinate timely material picking and shipment of finished goods and service parts.
• Identify and implement improvements to inventory management processes, systems, and workflows.
• Lead warehouse layout and space optimization projects and coordinate resources for implementation.
• Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory activities within the ERP system.
• Set priorities and allocate resources to meet operational goals and deadlines.
• Provide daily direction and coaching based on production schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Promote safe operating practices and ensure proper use of material-handling equipment.
• Support occasional Saturday work for physical inventory counts and layout changes.
