Job summary

Ecumen is seeking a Facilities Manager in Minnesota to oversee maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. The role includes budget oversight, vendor management, and building safety training.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a boiler operator's license or eligibility, maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Full-time, on-site with schedule M-F and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (or equivalent).
• Boiler operator's license required or eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Previous maintenance experience is required.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains and supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff to meet standards.
• Develops and maintains external vendor relationships for maintenance, custodial, grounds and services.
• Prepares and manages annual departmental budget.
• Ensures community property complies with all regulations (local, state, federal).
• Develops and maintains facility maintenance programs.
• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repairs across the property.
• Coordinates and trains team members in building safety procedures and in-services.
• Manages inventory control for supplies and orders as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
