Job summary

Ecumen in Minnesota is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Supervisor to lead maintenance, housekeeping and laundry teams. The role includes supervision, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 40 hours and an on-call rotation. Targeted pay is $28.00–$34.00 per hour, with Ecumen providing a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience overseeing maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic budgeting.
• Experience ensuring compliance with regulations and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains and supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff to meet regulations and standards.
• Develops external vendor relationships for maintenance, custodial, grounds, and services; monitors nonmedical contractors.
• Prepares and manages annual departmental budget.
• Ensures community property complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develops and maintains facility maintenance programs and conducts preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates safety trainings and procedures for all staff.
• Manages inventory and orders supplies as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
