Job summary

The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day maintenance and oversee capital projects at the Athens campus. The role collaborates with the Assistant Director of Facilities Management, university architects, and FMD to deliver reliable services for Hotel, Sales, Event Management, and Food & Beverage teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 8 years of professional experience.
• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two‑year College or technical school and a minimum of seven years related experience; BA/BS preferred; certifications in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc. are optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day facilities maintenance and oversee capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Georgia Center's leadership, Office of the University Architects, and FMD; coordinate with internal clients and external contractors.
• Manage preventive maintenance and supervise Facilities Maintenance team, trades, and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and effective facility operations for guests and events.
