Job summary

The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and capital projects across the Georgia Center. The role partners with the Assistant Director of Facilities Management and external contractors to ensure reliable operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 8 years of professional experience.
• Experience managing a large facility and coordinating multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance processes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities maintenance and oversee capital improvement projects.
• Manage and supervise Facilities Maintenance team, foremen, and contractors.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate procurement, inventories, and records for building infrastructure.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent

BA/BS from a four-year College or University preferred
