Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead maintenance operations at a distribution center in West Jefferson, Ohio. The successful candidate will balance day-to-day maintenance with long-term planning, capital projects, and safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage budgets, vendors, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in facility management.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement.
• Experience with technical engineering operations.
• Project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
• Plan, direct, and supervise maintenance operations using Lean tools and methodologies.
• Manage receipt and oversight of capital purchases.
• Own budget responsibilities for building-related departments.
• Develop and support sustainability initiatives across the facility.
• Drive Loss Prevention and Facility Management best-practice compliance, safety awareness, training, and HSE practices.
• Ensure accurate and legally compliant federal, state, and local regulatory recordkeeping and reporting.
• Maintain emergency management and disaster plans in partnership with corporate Loss Prevention.
• Serve as the primary owner of the CMMS for daily maintenance activities.
• Negotiate critical services with multiple vendors to support facility needs.
• Respond flexibly to issues that may arise outside normal business hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
