Job summary

Janicki Industries, located in Hamilton, Washington, seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee the physical plant, buildings, grounds, and all related equipment. You will lead a team of 25 across multiple shifts, manage maintenance budgets, and coordinate with operations for production access and upkeep.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency with strong people leadership and training. A US citizen or permanent resident and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 1–3 years of management experience in the building industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical plant, buildings, grounds and equipment (HVAC, etc.).
• Supervise maintenance, trades and custodial staff.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for services.
• Assist with facility project design, layout and planning.
• Manage maintenance schedules, tasks and records.
• Obtain quotes, make purchases and manage budgets.
• Coordinate with operations for access and maintenance opportunities.
• Estimate project schedules, costs and staffing for decisions.
• Analyze workforce utilization and equipment needs.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide cross-training.
