Job summary

Snohomish County Facilities seeks a Detention Lead Maintenance Technician to supervise and guide a maintenance team across detention facilities operating 24/7. You will coordinate tasks, troubleshoot building systems, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance while working closely with the Detention Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of supervisory and skilled commercial building maintenance work, on-call experience.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate contractors for complex maintenance tasks.
• Experience with safety policies and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance staff and contractors, assign tasks, and monitor work orders.
• Troubleshoot building systems (HVAC, electrical, security) and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and manage inventory of supplies.
